In partnership with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) and the Canada Revenue Agency, Whitby Library will host a tax preparation clinic on November 18, 2024. Eligible individuals may arrange to have their taxes prepared by a CVITP-approved volunteer free of charge through the Library.
You may be eligible if you have a modest income and a simple tax situation. Information for eligibility criteria can be found on the Government of Canada website.

Applicants will be contacted to confirm eligibility and appointment times. Due to a high volume of requests we may not be able to schedule you for your preferred time.
Once you are approved we will provide instructions on what documents you need to bring to your appointment.
