When you visit the Whitby Public Library, you probably know our staff as the friendly faces who help you find your next great read, discover new programs, or navigate library resources. But there's more to our team than meets the eye. They're artists, makers, and creators, too!
This November, we're excited to showcase the artistic talents of our staff in a special exhibit, Beyond the Stacks, on display now at the Central Library.
Featuring everything from paintings and mixed media pieces to personal creative projects, the exhibit offers a glimpse into the imagination, curiosity, and creativity that inspire our staff both inside and outside the Library. Many of the works have been shaped through paint nights, online tutorials, artistic experimentation, and a passion for lifelong learning.
