We can’t thank you enough Whitby! More than 2000 people attended CBC Kids Reads Live at the Central Library on Saturday, September 12. From special moments with Chase from Paw Patrol and Daniel Tiger to reading the five nominated books to playing games and taking part in crafts, the event was a stand-out success! Cottonball and Gary the Unicorn delighted audiences with behind-the-scenes action of a TV production right here at our Library. The event was a wonderful celebration of literacy, creativity, and community, and it was fantastic to see so many families come together to share in the joy of reading.
