All our Community Passes have been moved to a first-come first-served model.
The change to a rapid pass system was made to ensure everyone gets a chance to enjoy these popular items. Long wait times had become a barrier to getting these passes in your hands.
Although customers will not be able to reserve a pass by calling ahead or placing a hold in the catalogue, you will be able to check online for current availability—here’s how you can do this:
- Type the name of the pass you are interested in in the Search box at the top of the library’s website home page or online catalogue.
- Click on the title to view availability.
The availability of passes can change quickly as customers borrow and return them throughout the day. While the catalogue may show a pass as "available," we can’t guarantee it will still be there when you visit the branch. The Library’s Fees Policy applies to community passes.
Please return passes to the library location where it was borrowed.
Returned passes can not be immediately checked out out again on your card or a family member. To ensure equal access to all, we kindly ask you check back the following day for a pass.
