Seed Share

The Whitby Library Seed Share is opening Monday, March 9, 2026!

Grow something for yourself and the planet.

Our Seed Share makes it easy to grow your own fruits, vegetables, and flowers at home, helping you save money, support pollinators, and reduce your environmental footprint.

Whether you’re a first-time gardener or a seasoned grower, every seed you plant helps grow a healthier, more connected community.

Donations

Our Seed Share relies on donations to thrive. We happily accept seed donations all year long. All seeds must be mature, dry, and free of dirt, debris, and chaff.  Provide as much information as possible in this form and include the form with your seed donation. We also provide paper donation forms at all our locations. Our team will pack, label, and store the seeds for sharing!  Please submit seed donations, along with your form to a staff member, not in book returns.
