Get your summer gear on because the next two months are bursting at the seams with free fun that’s begging to be part of your summer highlight reel. Our team has created so many awesome activities across all three locations that the hardest part will be choosing what to try first! Here’s a sneak peek at what’s on tap at WPL.
We always enjoy building ideas around the TD Summer Reading Club. This year’s super cute nautical theme is called Dive In. Look for underwater inspired programs and so much more.
Shark Week is going to be Jawsome! Think puppets, scavenger hunts, and special storytimes. The fun runs all week long at our three locations from Monday, July 6 to Saturday, July 11.
Fintastic Merfolk is all about decorating a colourful mermaid in this drop-in crafty adventure.

Brooklin Branch’s Chess Club is a relaxed drop-in program that allows kids to learn new skills and practice with others. Participants must already know how to play chess.

Our friends from Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority will host an interactive presentation on the importance of wetlands in our watersheds and the many animals and plants that call them home. Two live native reptiles will be special guests at this registered program.

Your child’s teddy bear has been waiting for this all year! Drop-in for this all ages storytime special featuring a teddy bear picnic.

Did someone say glowsticks?! We’ll be handing them out at our Bioluminescence Bash Dance Party and Craft event. How will it work? Kids will create a jellyfish inspired craft and take part in a glow-in-the-dark dance party. Registration required.
