There’s no doubt, community Seed Shares spread a whole lot of love for the planet. With that in mind, Earth Month is the perfect time to explore the Whitby Seed Share at the Central Library! This popular program has become a major hit with community members looking to experience the joy of growing their own plants and produce.
“It’s absolutely amazing how much our Seed Share has expanded,” says Breah, the Library organizer of the Seed Share program. “It’s such a thrill speaking to a growing number of passionate gardeners who can’t wait to get their hands dirty after selecting seeds from our collection.”
Participating in the Library's Seed Share is a wonderful way to celebrate Earth Month (Earth Day is April 22) but how about attending an event or program? There’s something for everyone at all our locations!
